This is a huge, overwhelming, awe inspiring lot of hundreds upon hundreds of different First Day Covers (2000+) plus over 1100 unused theme envelopes; the majority of both groups are WWII, Patriotic, Anti-Axis, Naval, and Aviation, most from the war period directly after and before late 1930s thru late 1940s. They are ornate and quite beautiful, with the cachet art work similar to WWII poster art. There are rare and commons. This lot HAS NOT BEEN PICKED THROUGH!!! It has come from an estate right to our door. There are many Aviation and Zeppelin from the 1930s, about 550 naval and ships, 300 aviation, historic and presidential themes, famous events such as Kitty Hawk, death of Presidents including Roosevelt. There are earlier (1920s and 1930s) and later (1950s and 60s) but most are during the WWII period. This is the real deal. Overall condition is EX+.
