Nobody could run like Ronald Reagan. His charisma radiates off campaign posters for president and California governor. First is this classic 1980 call to the polls carefully autographed by him between the stripes of Old Glory, and features his photographic bust rising from the house he would call home for two historical terms. Poster has some minor creasing and flawless signature was obtained in person by noted Chicago newspaperman. This piece of Americana is a winner by a landslide. But before Reagan became leader of the free world, he had to woo voters from all walks of life and all parties to win the governorship of his adopted home state. Second, is this wood-framed 1966 campaign poster topped with the cry of “Ya Basta!” (Enough Already!) to market the Mexcan/Latin populace. Belongs in the collections of red- and blue-staters alike. Browning to edges, overall EX, with red, white and black type emphatically getting his message across. He wasn’t called the Great Communicator for nothing.
