We always liked the peeled-photo effect on the faux wood grain background to reveal the player's name and position on the 1962 Topps baseball cards. This tough to find unopened cello pack features a pair of All-Star catchers front and back, Earl Battey and Elston Howard. Obscuring the reverse side of the Howard are stamps of Duke Snider and Brooks Robinson, part of a collection that Topps resumed that year. The '62s were the second year Topps had returned to its vertical presentation. They featured 10 Babe Ruth cards, from boyhood to farewell speech. Topps had a way with the Babes. One of the rarest cello packs of the 60s.
