Footballs first genius was this longtime Headcoach (1892-1929) at the University of Chicago. Amos "Alonzo"Staggs amassed a record of 242-112-27. That was great but his innovations to the game were his legacy. He introduced ,to name a few, the huddle, tackle dummies, reverse play, the varsity letter, uniform numbers and the man in motion. He signed a 3X5 file card in black ink that rates a perfect 10. Along with the autograph we offer the original envelope dated Macrh 15, 1933 and a page from the scrap book of the first owner.
