The rookie card of football legend Broadway Joe "Willie" Namath! The man who guaranteed that the J-E-T-S would beat the mighty Baltimore Colts in Super Bowl III went out and led them with a balanced attack which kept the Colts defense off balance as the New Yorkers won the AFL's first Super Bowl 16-7. He went on to a successful career which unfortunately was hampered by his chronic knee injuries. This card was issued in 1965 and is one of the most coveted football cards in our hobby. This example looks brand new, like it was just pulled from a pack, and is completely Mint but for centering. Razor corners, pristine print and photo quality, booming color and a spotless reverse raise this to the highest echelon. This is Broadway Joe!
