The autobiography of America's most celebrated baseball hero tells of a life both tragic and triumphant. Offered is a first edition copy of "I Never Had It Made", which was published in 1972 - the very same year that Jackie passed away. Robinson has signed the 287 page volume ("To Tom from Jackie Robinson") on the fly leaf in bold (10/10) blue ink. The book remains in overall Near Mint (NM) condition, complete with the original dust jacket. Autographed copies of Jackie's autobiography are exceedingly rare, and this is certainly the finest example we have encountered.
