University of Miami Hurricanes football helmet worn during the 2002 Rose Bowl by a guy who creates something of a hurricane whenever he carries the pigskin, Clinton Portis, who gained 104 yards and scored a touchdown in the Rose Bowl to lead Miami to victory. This prefaced Portis' superb pro career with the Broncos and now the Redskins. Helmet shows great game use, which is to be expected since Portis likes to lower his head use it as a battering ram. It also features the Bowl Championship and Rose Bowl stickers, Portis' number 28 sticker and the American flag sticker on the back. All the orignal padding is inside and the original facemask and visor are intact. A Sports Illustrated cover is included featuring Portis wearing this same helmet and game tapes preserved on DVD.
