Long after his career was over, HOFer Paul Waner had to take on jobs managing or scouting in the bush leagues. In July 1961 "Big Posion" wrote this revealing and somewhat sad letter to Andy Seminick, the Phillies scout and minor league instuctor, proudly trying to sell his book on hitting. Addressed "Dear Andy and team," it reads, "I have a few thousand [books] left that are autographed," he writes, "and I can offer them to our clubs at $16 per copy, post paid." Letter is in blue ballpoint, ending with "Best wishes and best of all the baseball breaks" and a grade 10/10 signature. Letter EX-MT with light folds..
