One can seemingly feel the explosiveness in this great bat used by the ever-popular Duke on his way to 407 lifetime homers and a .295 average. Snider's trusty Louisville Slugger C117L, which was given to Andy Seminick, has a markedly thicker handle than the whip-handled bats of today, meaning that the Duke's hands and wrists had to be as strong as steel cable to be able to get the barrel around. That he did is demonstrated by the wealth of concussive markings on the sweet spot. Tape has been removed from the handle of the bat and a "4" is written in black marker on top of the barrel. Snider signed on the barrel in black marker, grading out at 9/10. There are other scuffings and smudgings on the bat but it's uncracked and a tough-as-nails survivor of a when The Duke ruled Flatbush not with an iron fist but a 35-inch stick.
