Three beautiful pieces of original baseball artwork came from the inaugural Topps auction. The first piece measures approximately 22" X 15" and shows a Cincinnati Reds baserunner advancing after a Pittsburgh Pirates infielder missed a ground ball at Riverfront Stadium in Cincinnati. On the back of the frame it reads, "'87 Baseball Yearbook , color art pp 14-15". The next beautiful print measures approximately 24" X 15" and shows an Atlanta Braves infielder about to field a line drive. The back of the frame reads, "'87 Baseball Yearbook, color art pp 4-5." The final piece in this exciting collection shows a baserunner sliding into home plate wearing a blue uniform with "Topps" written on his helmet as a Cubs catcher tries to block the plate. All three pieces are matted and presented in attractive frames. NRMT.
