1.25" gold press pin by Dieges & Clust is quite a treasure from the World Champion 1927 New York Yankees. Need any more be said? Rare pin variation in Near Mint condition, it commemorates the "Murderer's Row", the most heralded lineup in Major League baseball history. In the shape of a badge with ivy design on either side border, the brooch is adorned with three banners, enameled red, white & blue with the gold lettering: “Press, World Series, American League.” Below is the year, “1927” in raised gold numbers. At center is the popular crossed bats with baseball raised design. The pin back and "wheel" clasp are still intact and flawless. Dieges and Clust stamp on the back.
