Actual Player's Contract signed by All-Star third baseman Wade Boggs in 1986. This hard to find Uniform Player's Contract shows Boggs' salary to be $1,350,000 and was signed by Boggs in blue sharpie on March 20, 1986. (We don't know how much went to Margo Adams.) The signature rates an "8.5" out of a possible 10. All terms and conditions are included on this official 8 1/2 x 11" contract signed "Wade A. Boggs". The Red Sox organization and the American League office also signed this contract. Boggs hit .357 in 1986 to win his third AL Batting Title and led the Red Sox to the AL Pennant. EX-MT.
