Will Clark always left everything he had on the field, and the field left a lot on him, judging by this uniform set worn in 1988. Clark, a big-time, big-game guy, homered off Nolan Ryan on his first big league at-bat. Then, in '88, he hit. 289 with 29 homers and 109 RBIs, beginning a five-year string as the NL's starting All-Star first baseman before moving on to the Texas Rangers. The home white jersey reads "Giants" across the chest, "Clark" and "22" on back, in black and orange tackle twill. Tagging inside the left tail is "Rawlings [size] 44", with flag tag "Set 1 1988" and sewn-in tag "22 88". Pants have "Rawlings [size] 34", "Set 1 1988" and "22 88 34 27" on inside waistband. Both pieces stamped "Purchased from San Francisco Giants" and were obtained form a huge Clark collector. Excellent game use especially on shirt back and on pants, which have been patched on the inside of the left leg.
