One-of-a-kind official DMV-issued vanity license plate is a marvelous Met-mento of the "Miracle of '69." By itself a pretty fair grabber, its value is stoutly increased by the signature of the king of the Mets' hill and arguably their most popular player ever, Tom Seaver, whose grade-9 autograph in silver sharpie gives it a glittery hologram-style look. When Seaver signed it, he remarked to our consignor, "I always wondered who had it, because I wasn't able to get it!" The plate is in pristine Mint condition, and has been encased under glass in a blue and orange display with a 7 1/2 x 9 1/2" photo of the bedlam on the field after the final out of the World Series against the Orioles. MT condition "Met blue" frame measures 19 x 22".
