Astonishing museum type piece is one of the remaining few pieces of historic Olympia Stadium in Detroit, home to the Detroit Redwings which stood for nearly 6 decades. This letter "M" was taken off by a crane at the time the stadium was demolished in July of 1986, along with the remaining 7 letters which once spelled out "OLYMPIA." This "M" made up of metal and steel is offered in beautiful perfect condition, undented, showing some fading to the original paint and expected wear. When the Redwings used to play night games, this letter was seen from the street illuminated by neon lighting which once was run through the letter itself (measures 49x52x9"). A special, and very heavy piece, this will be shipped from Detroit. Please inquire about shipping costs.
