We didn't find any betting slips in the pockets of this snazzy sport jacket, but then again Pete Rose was more interested in base hits than bookies back in 1978 when the jacket was custom-made for him after he racked up his 3,000th hit on May 5, 1978. The jacket, worn by Rose, is brown with subtle white and red flecks. Sewn into the interior lining is a baseball-shaped decal that reads: "Model 3000 designed for Pete Rose Tailored by Peppe Ramundo & Son, Cincinnati, Ohio." There is also a separate Peppe Ramundo label and a tag that reads; "Custom Styled for Pete Rose." Absolutely perfect condition and a sure bet.
