Dartmouth's star winger Ralph Warburton starred on the U.S. Olympic ice hockey squad that finished fourth at the '48 Games in St. Moritz. He wore this striking red, white and blue scarf during the competition -- the first such item we've ever seen! It is stitched with a label inscribed "R. Warburton, Olympic Games St. Moritz 1948". Also an extremely rare, triangular-shaped cloth pennant, a memento of the game against the Russians, presented in an exchange of gifts after the fierce hitting was over, which is embroidered in gold lettering. Both show only slight soiling and the scarf has a small, unobtrusive hole. Otherwise VG-EX. Real history here, and among the toughest items to find.
