First Edition copy of "The Babe Ruth Story" (1948, Dutton Publishing) features an exceptionally bold (10/10) blue fountain pen Ruth signature on the title page. Although the Babe penned many autographs throughout his illustrious career (as opposed to penning this book, which was actually written by New York journalist Bob Considine), genuine Ruth signatures dating to the last two years of his life are scarce. Book remains in Excellent condition, save for the dust jacket which shows a section of paper loss along the spine and moderate wear along the edges. LOA.
