Offered is the Baltimore Orioles cap worn by Hall of Famer, Jim Palmer in his rookie season. Embroidered orange team logo on front. Shows incredible signature use, well broken in and sweat stained inner band, with his vintage number "22" written under the visor in black marker. Tagged “Wilson [size] 71/8” on the inside. Bill was folded, and is “cracked” in 3 spots. Hailed as the greatest pitcher in the Oriole's franchise history, Palmer recorded 5 wins and 4 losses with a 3.72 ERA in his first year. The following season, he would lead all Orioles pitchers with 15 wins.
