Hallowed Rawlings leather HSP once fit the hand of Pittsburgh Pirates Hall of Fame outfielder, Roberto Clemente. Very well broken in, and vintage faded number "21" written in marker on the wrist strap, next to the Rawlings tag, consistent with the equipment managers identification markings. "HSP" denotes the glove to be a Herb Score Personal model with such stamping in the palm. Comes with original extra laces and extra Rawlings tag. Includes LOA from a teammate who witnessed Clemente throwing the glove into the stands, following a game in Milwaukee. He states that Clemente told him when he came into the clubhouse that he wanted to give the glove away, knowing it would make some kid happy. Also included is an LOA from a third party authenticator Denny Esken, the well respected guru of baseball gloves, who has a lifetime of experience dealing with Roberto Clemente gloves. It is further documented in photos of Clemente wearing the exact same one from the era. One of only a few known Clemente gloves in private hands.
