The young and hungry Marlins made the 2003 World Series most memorable by upsetting the heavily favored Yanks in a six game series that had it all, brilliant pitching, great defense, powerful hitting, and a storybook ending. We are happy to offer a selection of game used items which include: 1) Game used line up card (11”x17”) from the Yankees dugout, dated October 18, 2003, written and signed in black sharpie by Joe Torre. 2) Gold stamped Rawlings Official World Series (Selig) baseball used during Game 4. Great Use. 3) Gold stamped Rawlings Official World Series (Selig) baseball used during Game 6. Great Use. 4) Pine tar rag used during Game 6 by the Yankees. Screened with the American League logo. Strong Use. 5) “Original Hollywood Base” (2nd base) used during the final Game 6 at Yankee Stadium on 10/25/03. Screened with the “World Series 2003” logo on top and affixed with all four side plates (one “Yankees”, one “Marlins”, two MLB logo). Exhibits strong game use and is covered in field dirt from the Yankee infield. All items come with MLB authenticating holograms.
