Lot Description  

Three pieces starring the pioneering comic duo of Amos & Andy: 1) 8"x10" studio photo (EX-MT) signed by Alvin Childress (8/10-black felt tip), Ernestine "Sapphire" Wade (7.5/10-blue ink), Freeman Gosden (9/10-red ink). Double-matted and framed to 12"x14". 2) Amos & Andy wind up taxi (7"), fully functional with nice paint, EX. 3) Amos 'n Andy tobacco box (45"x9"x5"), strong, well defined stampings, cover art almost 100% intact. EX.
