Two great pieces signed by “The Man of the Hour.” 1) Handwritten letter dated June 27th and is on his letterhead as a VP of the “Fidelity Deposit Company of Maryland.” This “Night Letter” regards the turning down of a request for a patient to use the “public pool.” In brown ink it is signed in full “Franklin Roosevelt.” 2) October 31, 1914 typed letter on “Navy Department…Washington” stationery, this is an order for a machinist to report for alternative duty. Signed “F.D. Roosevelt” the signature is EX-MT and o/w VG.
