Very rare original of two baseball gods who still define the greatest living rivalry in all of sports, shown here, shaking hands in the Yankee Stadium dugout. Photo taken for a War Bond campaign in 1943 is a signed photographer's proof copy from 1948, most likely used for the newspaper upon the death of Babe Ruth. Not to be confused with the more common later reprints, and this is the only time they were ever photographed together in their uniforms.
