Lot Description  

This astonishing trio is dressed to the nines in pinstripes during filming of the Lou Gehrig bio-pic Pride of the Yankees. They are on the field at the PCL’s Wrigley Field in Los Angeles on February 2, 1942. A marvelous tribute to Lou Gehrig this image is absolutely amazing. 2-1/4 x 3-1/4” in original envelope.
