It has remained in its unopened state and has not seen the light of day until offered now for the first time at auction. This 1954 Bowman baseball wax box offers 24 unopened treasures. If you tempt fate and must open these to work on the ultimate ’54 Bowman set you may find mint examples of Mantle, Mays, Reese, Berra, Ford, and maybe even the elusive Ted Williams card which was pulled early due to contractual problems. The packs are sealed tight as a drum and are a phenomenal NM-MT to MT. Display box is gorgeous and unperforated and is NM-MT. Sure to be the pinnacle of any unopened collection.
