Great period uniform of the 1910’s Chicago White Sox was manufactured by Sportsrobe, Inc. for the 1989 baseball classic starring Kevin Costner, “Field of Dreams.” It was worn during filming of the movie by Eddie Cicotte’s character, of the 1919 Chicago “Black Sox” team, played by actor Steve Eastin. Home white button-down pinstripe jersey is adorned with navy felt “Sox” team logo on the left breast, exactly as they wore them during the Dead Ball Era, with attractive navy trim on the collar and three-quarter sleeves.
