Total of (102) positives and (35) negatives of Joltin' Joe taken by daring New York photo journalist Hans Knopf (D) who is best known for his work in the magazines Life and Sports Illustrated. Three sheets (8x10”) contain (5) uncut strips each of positives. Photos were taken in 1938 and thirteen (13) 8x10” copies come with the lot. Includes some great shots of DiMaggio swinging in Yankee pinstripes, fielding, and even pitching. Comes with matted 8x10" black & white photo of deceased photographer, Hans Knopf with his camera on the 50-yard line of a football game.
