Our consignor’s family member owned a candy store back in the late 1950s and early 1960s. This box is one of the few surviving relics! It has remained unopened and has not seen the light of day until offered now for the first time at auction. This 1960 Topps Tattoo box offers 240 unopened packs. It was printed in Canada as noted on the box. This box is unique because the U.S. produced boxes only offered 120 packs per box versus the 240 offered in Canada. Each tattoo pack says “made in Canada…printed in Canada”, it is the only difference in the packs. If you’re adventurous and open these you can expect to find Mantle, Mays, Aaron, Berra, Musial, Banks, etc. And with only 96 tattoos in the set you stand a good chance at uncovering many of these HOFers. Packs are NRMT to NM-MT. Display box is EX-MT (lid is detached). An unopened treasure that probably won’t be seen again.
