From the legendary collection of Mickey Mantle’s sacred personal treasures (New York 2003) came this gold “Look” All American watch. Issued to beloved Yankee, Mickey Mantle in the 1958 season, it pays homage to one of four seasons in which Mantle led the league in home runs and one of 12 pennant winners for which he played. In full working condition, the watch is adorned with yellow crossed bats and baseball design enameled onto the face with “Lord Elgin” arched above. Below is “Look” in red lettering and “All American League 1958” in black. Watch face is EX-MT, watch overall is Excellent. This was most likely one of Mantle's favorites, as it shows plenty of use to the genuine alligator band by Kreisler. Underside of the watch face is inscribed, “Mickey Mantle” and “14 K gold filled.” Straight from the Mantle family, with the original auction tag still attached to it! LOA from the Mantle family.
