This prestigious garment, a lightweight green wool jacket - only available to members of Augusta National golf club - somehow found its way off of the premises of the most exclusive golf course in the world, the site of the Masters Tournament. Rarely if ever seen in the hands of a private collector, these sport jackets are not intended to be taken off of the golf course. Its fate is now to be in the hands of a private owner to cherish a sacred piece of tradition. Closely resembling professional sports’ most prized acquisition, which is awarded to the champion at Augusta each year, the jacket is manufactured by “Hamilton” (Cincinnati) with the tag on the inside pocket. Partially lined in matching green satin and owns three gold buttons on center front. Each button is decorated with the raised logo of the ceremonious tournament, which appears again as an embroidered patch over the left breast pocket. Light use and wear.
