This bat, a Dick Groat gamer, was used by Hall of Fame teammate, Roberto Clemente in one of the Pittsburgh Pirates’ most memorable seasons. The 1960 season ended with the Pirates defeating the Yanks for the World Championship. Bill Mazeroski’s heroic home run in the 9th, probably the most dramatic in World Series history, gave the Pirates a 10-9 victory and the World Championship. Hillerich & Bradsby 016 shows excellent game use with multiple ball marks around the barrel. Roberto Clemente’s #21 written in black marker on the knob.
