1+1=1. And what a phenomenal “1” it is! Two 1971 Topps “Greatest Moments” test issue sheets add up to one complete 55-card set featuring the career highlights of the day’s top players. Twenty-two cards cover the first (2 x 11) while thirty-three cards (3 x 11) fill the second specimen, loaded with names such as Mays, Yaz, McCovey, Staub, Bench, Banks, Munson, Brock, and Morgan. Both exhibit EX-MT quality with a small water stain on the larger sheet (does not interfere with cards) being the only flaw worthy of mention. Not reflected in the grade is creasing on the 22-card sheet: Gibson and Bunning are touched by creases. Another crease runs from Banks down to Yaz.
