Amazingly, it is perfectly placed on the sweet spot in a horizontal flow. This is a most unusual and appealing form for the Great One, making for the ultimate single signature display. The lore of this precious orb is equally as impressive and truly special. It emanates from a gentleman who was working on a project involving Clemente’s signing of 3,000 baseballs bearing the Eastern Airlines stamp, following his milestone achievement of 3,000 career hits. However, in the middle of the project, tragedy struck, and only 800-900 baseballs were actually signed by Clemente. Such is the tale of true greatness. Presented is a rare example from that signing in Excellent condition, boasting one of the best signatures extant from this legendary Hall of Famer.
