Presented is a spectacular image of "The Georgia Peach", captured by legendary baseball photographer Charles Conlon. Originally part of the Baseball Magazine Archives, the offered photo captures Cobb in a piercing stare, as he stands alone gazing ever so slightly away from the camera. A magnificent representation of Conlon's work, the photo exhibits superb clarity and is worthy of display in any collection of fine baseball photography. The image is missing minute sections of paper at each of three corners, and a larger portion of the lower right hand corner. However, save for the aforementioned flaws, which could likely be remedied by the work of a competent restoration expert, the piece is in Excellent (EX) condition, with the original Baseball Magazine sale hologram on the verso.
