Offered is the 1968 Detroit Tigers personal World Championship trophy presented to player, Gates Brown. This is the first one ever to be offered at public sale. After rallying back from a 3-1 deficit and winning Game 7, the Tigers brought home the championship crown to Detroit for the first time since 1945. Trophy is adorned with 20 team pennants surrounding the crown and baseball sculpture with Tigers & Cardinals World Series press pins in front on black podium.
