The purest and ultimate piece of Beatles Yellow Submarine Americana! Probably the most unique and spectacular piece Lelands has to offer. Artist's model is the original first model of the Yellow Submarine from the production of the Beatles' hit animated movie, "Yellow Submarine." This model was used by the animators, and studied in the creation of the images for the movie. Made from Balsam wood and delightfully adorned with pasted on furnishings, completely original and paint is in Excellent condition. Comes with its original wooden stand (painted black) with two protruding nails upon which the sub was perched. The model has been beautifully restored. The sub itself measures 14" in length from head to bow and is 9" tall (12" with stand).
