Silver ring by Jostens from the AFL’s inaugural season, which saw the birth of the Houston Oilers (now the Tennessee Titans). The Oilers, one of the original 6 AFL franchises, kicked off their existence with a bang, winning 24-16 over the Los Angeles Chargers. Offered is the ring presented to head coach, Wally Lemm following that championship season. Top is large rectangular turquoise ruby, surrounded by “First AFL Championship - Houston Oilers” in raised lettering. Right shank is AFL emblem with the score, “24-16” below. Left shank is “Lemm” on banner with helmet and “1960” below. Size 10. EX.
