Rare 100% original vintage helmet is the key to the 1970’s Washington Redskins. This is the first we have seen from this popular quarterback, leader of George Allen’s Over the Hill Gang, who spearheaded the Redskins to their first ever Super Bowl appearance in 1972. Washington Redskins Riddell helmet adorned with Indian head decals on either side plus Kilmer’s number “17” in white numbers on the back. Great vintage style with the single bar jaw protector and all inside padding intact. Kilmer’s number is also written in black marker inside by each ear hole. There is also another number, “20” that has been crossed out. NAREA standard inspection sticker still affixed to inside. Helmet shows great use and wear.
