1969 Cincinnati Reds home jersey represents the revival of the short-sleeved home jersey, a three-year style marking the glory days of the Big Red Machine. Plain white with the embroidered Reds logo on the left breast and Tony Cloninger’s number 40 sewn on right breast in red tackle twill. The verso displays the large number “40”, the name has been removed, but the thread used in the arched lettering has left a visible outline of his name. Embroidered on the front left tail is “46” denoting the size and “69” denoting the season. Tagging sewn onto the inside seam of the front right tail is “Rawlings [size] 46” with care tag to its right and “set 1 1969” flag tag. 100th Anniversary patch has been removed from the sleeve. The jersey displays excellent use and wear, in nice condition.
