Leather and suede jacket belonged to Hall of Famer, Billy Herman during the 1946 season when he played for the Boston Braves. Zip-up is a colorful garment adorned with an elaborate and large Braves Indian patch on the back. Signed in blue felt tip on the left sleeve. “Herman” is sewn in maroon colored thread just inside of the zipper on the front right lapel. “10” printed on two tags on inside of the opposite lapel. Collar tagging is “Wilson [size] 46”. Jacket shows good use and wear. This jacket was also worn by former 1946 Boston Braves teammates, Phil Masi, Danny Lithwhiler and Earl Reid. LOA from Herman.
