A nice collection of wood from some memorable hurlers from the 1960’s to current day. Three are signed by the player. Highlighted by Gaylord Perry and Steve Carlton: 1. 1969 - 1971 Gaylord Perry Autographed Hillerich & Bradsby P89 (36”). Signed in black sharpie, “36” written on knob. Light use. 2. 1986 to 1989 Steve Carlton Autographed Louisville P89 (35”). Signed and notated, “1984”. Unused. 3.1987 David Cone Adirondack 225B (34”). Unusual for a pitcher’s bat, but this piece of lumber has an inordinate of ball marks on it; covered with remnants of stampings from baseballs, which have been perfectly branded onto the wood from impact; you can actually read the labels (this bat may have been used for batting practice, judging from the amount of ball marks). “225B 106 7” stamped onto knob. Cone’s number “44” written on knob in black marker. 4.1986 - 1989 Paul Splittorff Autographed Louisville K55 (34”). His number “34” written on knob. Light use. 5. Late 1990’s Bret Saberhagen Louisville B390 (34.5”). Number “18” written at both ends. Good use. 6. 1969 - 1971 Tommy John Hillerich & Bradsby J94. This bat is unusual in bottle shape with extra large knob. It is in unfinished condition; the end of the barrel is flat, exposing the center of the bat. It does look to have been used to hit some balls, however. 7. 1965 - 1968 Rick Reuschel (mispelled) Hillerich & Bradsby K55 (35”). Strong use.
