A great pairing from two of the most impacting hurlers in baseball history. Lew Burdette, one of the cockiest and most talented pitchers ever to take the mound wore these home white California Angels uniform pants in his last year as a player. Nice use with “Burdette 36 27 ins” embroidered in red thread on plate in the back of the waistline. To its right is the “Rawlings [size] 36” tag with care instructions on separate tag. A plate for the year, also in the waist is embroidered “67”. The other pair, worn by Hall of Fame Brooklyn Dodgers manager, Walt Alston are gray road with “Alston 38/37 27 ins” embroidered on felt plate in the back of the waistline. Two crossed out numbers are handwritten in black marker next to it. Also in the waist on the right hip is the “Rawlings [size] 38” tag with “set 1 1964” flag tag and care tag to the right. Nice use.
