An outstanding assemblage of ten signed contracts from one of Hollywood's earliest and biggest producers. During the silent film era, Louis Mayer ruled Hollywood and successfully parlayed a group of theatre chains to establish the all-important MGM studio, while producing such classics as Ben Hur & The Wizard of Oz. Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer contracts typed on 8.5x11" MGM paper all pertain to motion pictures & actors during the 1920's through 1950's. Pages exhibit some toning, EX to NRMT. Louis Mayer's signatures in black fountain pen are fabulous, receiving an average grade of "9". LOA.
