Scarce five hundred dollar bill is considered to be even tougher than its $1,000 counterpart. Now only a collector’s item, these $500 bills were last printed in 1945. The Treasury began removing from circulation notes larger than $100 in 1969. Crisp example is very well centered (about 65-35 on front, 50-50 on back). Excellent.
