An important piece of college football history, from the first year of the exalted tradition to bring in the New Year. This was part of the Tournament of Roses Parade through Pasadena, California and was most likely carried in the parade just before the Rose Bowl. This year marked the resurgence of football as the main event. Flag reads, "Rose Tournament 1916 - New Year's Day. Pasadena, Cal." VG-EX with a couple of rips or tears.
