Horseshoe from Triple Crown Winner American Pharoah's last race. Thoroughbred race horse, American Pharoah had a season for the ages in 2015. That year he won the Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes, and Belmont Stakes to capture the coveted Triple Crown. An estimated 22 million U.S. television viewers watched American Pharoah ride into the history books at the Belmont. After winning the Triple Crown, American Pharoah raced in three more races before retiring. The horseshoe offered here was worn by American Pharoah during the final race of his career, the 2015 Breeder's Cup. Jockey Victor Espinoza rode American Pharoah to victory in the Breeder's Cup. The win was historic as American Pharoah became the first horse in history to complete the Grand Slam of Thoroughbred racing: The Triple Crown plus the Breeder's Cup Classic. The oval shaped horseshoe (4.5x5.5") shows excellent wear and has been signed by American Pharoah's farrier during his racing days, Wes Champagne. A LOA from Coolmore/Ashford Stud is included with the horseshoe.
