Displayed is a very rare Duke Snider signed baseball, one that has Snider's signature, with his full name on the sweet spot and a hand done picture of Snider. The Duke played 18 Major League seasons: Brooklyn/Los Angeles Dodgers (1947-62), New York Mets (1963), San Francisco Giants (1964). Snider, a left-handed batter, loved to drive baseballs over the right field wall and into Bedford Avenue at Brooklyn's Ebbets Field, and even though things became tougher when the Dodgers moved to the Coliseum in Los Angeles, Snider did hit a career 407 round trippers. He was also an 8-time All-Star and a 2-time World Champion.

Snider, in a rare occurrence, signed his name on the ball as "Edwin Donald Snider." The Duke used a blue ballpoint pen to write "Edwin Donald Snider 'Duke'" on the sweet spot. In addition, on a side panel is a color image of Snider, hand done by an artist who signed, in red ink, "ES '91." The image of Snider shows him in a Brooklyn Dodgers cap, and it is replete with a very nuanced Snider portrait. The Official National League (Giamatti) baseball is NRMT, along with the hand done portrait of Snider. The offering comes with a PSA LOA for the signature.
