A 19-year old Mickey Mantle signed this 1.5x3.75" cut piece of paper in 1951, his rookie year. Mantle signed his name with a blue ballpoint pen. "1951" is written next to Mantle's signature in an unknown hand. Early Mantle signatures are probably the most desirable among collectors as they are the most scarce. Mantle played for the Yankees from 1951 to 1968. He hit 536 career home runs, and was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1974.
