There is a typed writeup on the back of the photo that tells the story of the image. "Trials of a Father," it reads, "Former Major League baseball star Jackie Robinson appears grief-stricken as he speaks to the press here following his son's release on $5,000 bond. Jack, Jr., 21, was arraigned on charges of illegal possession of narcotics and a weapons violation." The photo is in good condition and has been slabbed by PSA.
